MuscleGrid Industries Private Limited · Effective 31 July 2026
E-Waste Management & Recycling Policy
MuscleGrid manufactures electrical and electronic equipment, and we take lifecycle responsibility for it. This Policy describes how customers can responsibly return end-of-life products, our compliance approach under the E-Waste (Management) Rules, 2022 and the Batteries Waste Management Rules, 2022, and essential safety guidance for handling old units — especially lithium batteries.
1. Why E-Waste Matters
Inverters, batteries and stabilizers contain metals, electronics and — in the case of lithium batteries — energy-dense cells that must never enter mixed household waste. Improper disposal harms the environment and, for batteries, creates a real fire hazard. Recycling recovers valuable materials and keeps hazardous substances out of soil and water.
2. Our Take-Back Program
You can return any end-of-life MuscleGrid product for responsible recycling:
- Write to [email protected] with the subject "E-Waste Return", your product details and address;
- We will guide you to the nearest authorised collection option or arrange courier pickup where feasible (freight for end-of-life returns may be payable by the sender);
- Returned units are channelled to authorised dismantlers/recyclers registered with the pollution control authorities.
End-of-life returns under this program are recycling transactions: they do not create any warranty, refund or exchange entitlement unless separately agreed under a published exchange offer.
3. Lithium Battery Safety — Read Before You Store or Ship
- Never puncture, crush, open or incinerate a lithium battery, and never store it in direct sun, near heat, or in vehicles.
- If a battery is swollen, hot, hissing or smells unusual — do not charge it, move it to a non-combustible open area away from people, and contact us immediately for guidance.
- Tape exposed terminals before storage or transport, keep the battery upright in its original or equivalent packaging, and never ship damaged lithium batteries by ordinary courier — ask us first; special handling rules apply.
4. What You Should Do With Old Equipment
- Do not dispose of any inverter, battery or stabilizer in household waste or to informal scrap handling that involves burning or acid stripping.
- Wipe or reset any personal configuration where applicable (e.g., WiFi credentials in smart dongles) before handover.
- Prefer authorised channels: our take-back program, manufacturer/retailer exchange schemes, or collection centres authorised by your State Pollution Control Board.
5. Our Compliance Approach
We work toward our obligations under the E-Waste (Management) Rules, 2022 and the Batteries Waste Management Rules, 2022, including channelling collected e-waste to authorised recyclers and maintaining the records prescribed by law. Information on this page is updated as our program and the applicable rules evolve.

Group Entities — Uniform Application
MuscleGrid operates through a group of affiliated firms. This document is issued by MuscleGrid Industries Private Limited and applies uniformly across the MuscleGrid group — including, without limitation, MuscleGrid Industries (Gurgaon), SPV Industries, and Electronics Bay — wherever any of these firms manufactures, bills, fulfils or services your order.
Where your tax invoice, warranty card or shipment is issued by or through an affiliated group firm, references in these documents to “MuscleGrid”, “we”, “us” or “our” include that firm, and the same policies, terms and protections apply in full. The entity named on your tax invoice is your contracting party for that transaction; policy administration, warranty service and customer support remain centralized with MuscleGrid at [email protected].
