Inverter not switching to battery during power cut

If the inverter does not run on battery when mains goes off:

1. Check the battery isolator/switch is ON.
2. Check both battery terminals are tight and not loose or corroded.
3. Check the DC fuse between battery and inverter.
4. If the battery is very low it may need a few hours of charging first. If it still does not switch, the inverter changeover may be faulty — book a service visit.
