Stabilizer clicking, relay chattering, or tripping

Sourced from the official MuscleGrid manuals · updated 2026-08-13

If a stabilizer keeps clicking/relay-chattering or cuts output:

  1. The input mains voltage is likely too low or too high — the stabilizer is correcting rapidly.
  2. Check the input wire is the correct gauge (6 or 8 sq mm) and terminals are tight — thin or loose wiring causes chattering.
  3. Remove any overload (appliance beyond the stabilizer's rated capacity).
  4. Let mains stabilise; if clicking is constant even at normal voltage, book a service visit.
