Stabilizer trips or cuts off when load is applied — what to check first

A voltage stabilizer that TRIPS or cuts off as soon as load is connected is most often caused by THIN INPUT WIRING (an under-gauged input wire causing voltage drop and overheating), NOT a fault in the stabilizer itself. ALWAYS check with the customer the wire gauge used at the stabilizer INPUT: it must be at least 6 sq mm. For heavy loads it must be 8 sq mm. If the wire is thinner than this, advise the customer to upgrade the input wire first — this usually resolves the tripping. Only after the input wiring is confirmed correct should it be treated as a hardware fault (photos → manager-approved PCB → reverse pickup).
