These codes are shared across the current MuscleGrid hybrid inverter range (1.5 kW – 10.2 kW). Which series is my inverter? Go by the invoice date: bought before March 2026 → it is the earlier hybrid range (1.5–5.2 kW, including the 3 kW/24V True Hybrid). Bought March 2026 or later → it is a Focus or Titan series unit — see their dedicated pages below.

01Fault Code 01: Fan is locked when inverter is off

02Fault Code 02: Over temperature

04Fault Code 04: Battery voltage is too LOW

MG Hybrid Inverter FAULT CODE 04 — Battery voltage is too LOW. TROUBLESHOOTING (per manual §8):

  1. Re-charge the battery;
  2. if it persists, replace the battery;
  3. check battery connections/cables (loose or undersized cables cause voltage sag under load). For a 24V unit the bank is 24V (2×12V in series) — assess the 24V bank, never ask if it is '12V'. NOTE: this is the meaning per the CURRENT MG hybrid manuals (#712/#713/#714). The older MG6500-48 (#197) manual listed code 4 = 'battery over-current' — for a 6.2kW unit, confirm which manual applies by invoice date/model before advising. Judge by the INVOICE/purchase DATE. BEFORE March 2026: the unit CANNOT be Focus or Titan (those series launched March 2026) — it is the earlier hybrid range (1.5–5.2KW incl. the 3kW/24V 'True Hybrid'); use manual #714. ON/AFTER March 2026: it may be π Focus/Titan (3.2–6.2KW, #713), the 7.2–10.2KW range (#712), or the earlier range — confirm capacity + system voltage (12V/24V/48V) from the invoice. A 3kW 24V bought before March 2026 = True Hybrid.
